Description – why you need to visit this place ⚡
Thors Cave is great. It's not something you see every day, especially in the UK. You can climb right into the cave if you want to. It has a very mystical and medieval vibe to it. We did a longer route that took you through the countryside around the cave. It was a great varied route with lovely views along the trail. The circular route wasn't busy at all, but the cave itself was rather packed. This didn't take away from the experience though.

Route description 🔍
The route is fairly easy to follow using the All Trails map. We had service the whole way around so there was no need to download the map. It is a nice varied route that takes you through country road, fields, farms, and to the cave.
Parking info 🚙
We parked in the car park that is suggested on All Trails (53.10199, -1.86023). It was a little busy, though, so I would recommend getting there in the morning to ensure you get a spot. The parking was free!
Tips/tricks/advice... 🤘
There are also shorter routes to Thor's Cave that you can take if you do not want to take a full circular route.
Food recommendations 🍴
We went to Ramblers Retreat (https://maps.app.goo.gl/SYSvM3cKA2eLmyVM8) for breakfast in the morning before the hike and it was great!
Stay wild,
